Context & The Challenge

Saily introduced “Saily Experiences” – a feature allowing travelers to discover and book curated local activities directly within the app. As part of a product design challenge, the objective was to craft a dedicated web landing page concept that communicates the core value of this feature, captivates busy adventure seekers, and drives active app engagement.
The core design objectives and friction points included:

  • Communicating All-in-One Convenience: Travelers frequently jump between multiple platforms; the page needed to instantly convey the value of combining mobile connectivity with direct experience booking in a single ecosystem.
  • Balancing Excitement with Trust: Target users require both visual inspiration and absolute assurance that listed activities are safe, verified, and premium quality.
  • Frictionless Web-to-App Onboarding: The landing page needed to bridge the gap between web discovery and direct app conversion without introducing drop-off friction.

My Role & Strategy

Executing this design challenge within a one-week timeline, I developed a fully responsive landing page concept, custom visual assets, and a developer-ready Figma component system aligned with Saily’s brand identity.

  • Persona-Driven Storytelling: Structured the layout to appeal directly to busy professionals and adventure seekers by prioritizing scannability, energetic travel visuals, and concise benefit framing.
  • High-Intent Conversion Hierarchy: Mapped out strategic CTAs and interactive feature previews that showcase curated activities and guide users toward app installation.
  • Design System & Handoff Integrity: Engineered scalable UI components, layout grids, and visual assets inside Figma to ensure seamless developer handoff and brand consistency.

Design & Execution

  1. Curated Visual Storytelling & Hero Architecture
Crafted an energetic hero section featuring custom imagery and dynamic preview cards of verified experiences, immediately tapping into travel excitement while clearly framing Saily as an all-in-one travel companion.
  2. Trust Signals & Verification Framework
Integrated strategic social proof elements, including safety badges, verified organizer tags, and concise user reviews, neutralizing hesitation for high-value activity bookings.
  3. Interactive App Integration Preview
Designed a visual showcase demonstrating the seamless transition from discovering an activity on the web to instantly booking it inside the Saily app, emphasizing speed and zero booking friction.

The Results

The launched UI/UX framework successfully fulfilled the core strategic product goals:

  • High-Impact Feature Storytelling: Successfully translated a complex feature integration into a clear, engaging narrative that resonates with busy travel personas.
  • Optimized Conversion Funnel: Created a frictionless web-to-app journey designed to increase app adoption and direct feature engagement.
  • Developer-Ready Product Assets: Delivered a fully responsive, component-driven Figma design file optimized for effortless design system integration and developer handoff.

Design Reflection & Strategic Value:
Transforming a standalone feature into a compelling web narrative requires balancing brand alignment with conversion psychology. By pairing vibrant, adventure-focused visuals with rock-solid trust mechanics and clear app integration flows, this landing page concept positions Saily Experiences not just as a feature, but as an indispensable travel companion for modern explorers.
